About VicPHCRED

Funded under the national PHCRED Strategy, the Victorian Primary Health Care Research, Evaluation and Development Partnership (VicPHCRED) is a partnership of four Victorian university departments:

Formed in 1999, the partnership is now in its ninth year, and strongly aligning itself with the goals and objectives of national PHCRED Strategy continues to be its strong emphasis.

The Partnership is committed to providing the following:

  • Education Program – quality research skills workshops, seminars and courses tailored to the needs of early to mid-career primary care researchers. Please refer to website of individual departments for more details.
  • Fellowship/Scholarship Program – bursaries to enable primary health care practitioners to undertake research projects for part-time over 9 to 12 months.
  • Research Higher Degrees (RHD) – post-graduate program to build career pathways vital to the future leadership of research, evaluation and development in the primary health care sector.
